Ottawa Athlete Photography at 613LIFT

Recently I had the chance to photograph Alex Picknell, a rising athlete in Ottawa, alongside his coach from Mahmoud from EliteUP Training, at the always-impressive 613LIFT facility.

We focused on getting a crazy pump, dynamic movements, posing, and some candid coach-client interactions. We captured a mix of badass photos and videos that quickly gained traction. The first video posted (organically with very few initial followers) reached over 11,000 views. Organically, overnight, and with a limited initial following, very quickly we could see that this content caught the eyes and attention of fellow athletes and sponsors.
