This past weekend, Downtown Ottawa became a vibrant hub of runners, supporters, and a palpable sense of camaraderie for the 17th Annual Canadian Army Run. With over $4.7 million raised for Soldier On and Support Our Troops, this event transcends mere competition; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who serve our country.

I had the privilege of participating in the 10km race, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. As I navigated the course alongside fellow runners—some racing with injuries, others honoring lost comrades—I felt a profound connection to the causes we were championing. Veterans and families united in honoring those who dedicate their lives to our freedom.
After crossing the finish line, I captured the day’s incredible energy in a short video. It highlights the smiles, determination, and spirit of solidarity that defined the event. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed being a part of it!
The Canadian Army Run is more than just a race; it’s a poignant reminder of the sacrifices our troops make and the support they need upon their return. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a casual participant, this event welcomes everyone.
If you missed it this year, don’t fret! Mark your calendars for next September and join in the fun. Together, we can continue to make a difference and support our soldiers—one step at a time.
Here’s to many more years of running for a cause! ?♂️
