When Louis reached out about planning the perfect surprise proposal for Divine, he knew exactly what he wanted: a quiet, meaningful sunset moment by the water following an incredible date in the city. Together, we walked the ground at Kiweki Point (Ottawa) overlooking the Rideau Canal, Parliament Buildings and the Chateau Laurier , mapped out his dream day, and locked in a plan.

When the day came, I was incredibly lucky to be the one to capture it. While shooting with my main camera (Canon R5), I also had my iPhone rolling to give them a video of the entire proposal, a moment they can replay forever.

After she said yes, many hugs, kisses, and tears were shared, and we wandered over to Major’s Hill Park for sunset portraits. The orange and pink glow lit up the love between them, and I was able to deliver these sneak peeks within the hour (same day) from their special moment, to share with friends and family.
