Heads up: If you raced in multiple heats, your photos may appear across batches. We recommend you wait to purchase until all heats are complete.
You train for months, if not years. You sacrifice weekends, fight through fatigue, and push yourself day after day to show up on the start line, and slam through the finish.
I’m Sean Menezes, an Ottawa-based local Canadian photographer, endurance athlete, and active military engineering officer. I’ve been there, right where you are, showing up day after day, putting it all on the line only to receive race photos back that didn’t capture any of the emotion, grit, resilience or story behind what was the biggest challenge and accomplishment of my life at the time.
Badass media is often reserved for the pros, yet from my time in the military, traveling across Canada and overseas, I’ve met inspiring people from every walk of life. People who pushed every boundary I could have dreamed possible, and they were all within our own communities across the country.
However at local races, the media was lifeless, overexposed, and of course, expensive. Initially I started off editing these race photos locally in Ottawa, just to spice them up a bit, donating the proceeds. Eventually this lead to me capturing local events and races, and finally to founding RaceCapture.
My goal is to highlight those very people, each with their own individual and powerful story, to redefine community race media. To do this, my team and I capture, edit, and deliver the most badass images we can from race day, to highlight your achievement without compromise. This way we can deliver you incredibly edited, beautiful images as you cross the finish line. You put in the work, and I promise, so will we.
